Font Introduction
Georgia Font Family belongs to the Serif font family. A British designer named Mather Care in the year 1993 created this font.
This font was specially designed for Microsoft and it is still available in the Microsoft font library. The characters of this font were designed this way so that it will provide good readability on small resolution screens and also be good for printing.
It has a bold font appearance, the designer of this font notices that the bold style of Verdana and this font are bolder than most bold fonts. Mather Butterick another typographer stated that this font has the most visible appearance on print paper.
This font is similar to the Times New Roman Font, but this font has a better display on screens and The New York Times changed its standard for Times New Roman with this font in 2007.
